A little about me…

I paint the world as I see it. A world of chaos, confusion, and comedy, which my work captures through shape, color, and a bit of humor. The paintings, whether moody self-portraits or joyful abstractions, reflect my experience living in a world I’m greatly invested in but never take too seriously.

I express my outlook through an interplay of color and shape, creating rhythms to match this time’s hectic energy.  I make these shapes instinctively through a messy palette filled with found color to create concise, planar paintings. The process may be chaotic, but the paintings aim for clarity—and a touch of levity—in the absurdity around me.

In short, I respond to what I see—in newspapers, on the streets, in everyday life—and translate it onto the canvas.

I am currently a Masters of Fine Arts candidate at the New York Studio School.
